Georgian Coral NecklaceAn exquisite triple strand coral necklace dating from the late Georgian era, circa 1830. Three rows of natural pearls adorn the gold clasp, setting up a theme: of the sea. Coral and pearl; a divine combination. The orange coral is strongly saturated and was likely gathered of the coast of Naples where it was fashioned into these beads. To still tempests and traverse broad rivers in safety was the privilege of one who bore either red or white coral

They're both finished in colourful enamel with hieroglyphics

but if not it's certainly period - and there's the option to detach it and fasten the necklace with ribbon
